Mar Menor apartment rental details

Playa Honda
Playa Honda is in the general area of La Manga, near the City of Cartagena, in the province of Murcia. Murcia is between the highly touristic provinces of Andalusia (Marbella and Malaga etc.) and Valencia (Alicante and Benidorm etc.). If you like being with people mainly from your own country, wanting non-local food and drink, then this may not be the place for you, you may possibly prefer Benidorm or Malaga. Here you will meet Spaniards, they live here and they come here for their holidays. We think this is a good thing and part of the appeal of this area. The Mar Menor (Little Sea) is about 5 degrees warmer than the Mediterranean Sea, it has no tides and is shallow, you will see groups of people sitting in the water for long periods just chatting and taking advantage of the iodine and higher salt concentrations. This area of Spain has been described by the World Health Organization as the healthiest place to live in the world.

Verdemar 3 Complex
The Verdemar 3 complex is a new luxury modern apartment block with a nice comunal amenities area including Indoor pool with Sauna for winter use and Outdoor swimming pool with Jacuzzi for summer use, Gym and Childrens play area all within pleasant surroundings and security of the complex.

Excellent area for Cycling / Golf / Exploring the Natures Reserves & Relaxing. Stunning views across the Mar Menor (Little Sea) and to the rear looking across towards the begining of the Lamanga Strip. In the summer months the area comes alive especially the strip with all its restaurants, shops and night life. On the right hand side travelling down the strip is the Mediterranian with miles of sandy beaches and bays. On the left hand side is the Mar Menor with its crystal clear shallow waters ideal for all the water sports on offer in the area. 55 Euro charge is made for final clean, payable on arrival to key holder. Beach/Pool towels are not provided.

vik says: "This property was great and was spacious enough to cater very comfortably for five of us. On arrival Phil met us with the keys and guided us round the complex. The apartment itself was very clean, well supplied with kitchen appliances and utensils, and with a great range of dvds, books and games. Although the lounge and main bedroom has aircon, we had a lovely sea breeze running through the rooms so didnt need to use it very much, and the evening sunset view was stunning. The underground parking spot came into its own on weekends when the area got busy with beach visitors, and we loved being able to just walk across the road and be on the beach! We are hoping to book for next year!"
